Mobile Moving Target System

Designed and manufactured in Australia, the RAIDER Mobile Moving Target System (MMTS) is a day/night combined arms moving target system that adds variable dynamic elements to any live fire or live simulation training. The self-propelled electric system is capable of moving a wide range of available trailer and target combinations, including printed day targets and active thermal profiles at speeds approaching 40 km/h (25mph).

Train Anywhere, Anytime, Any Natures

The RAIDER MMTS can be deployed, operated, recovered and then relocated across all ranges, providing a moving target capability to the Australian Defence Force and our allies where they need it and when they need it.

The RAIDER MMTS is a turn-key solution moving target solution that is supplied in a 20-foot shipping container suitable for movement via road, rail and sea. Multiple RAIDER moving targets can be coordinated by a single trained operator.

The RAIDER MMTS is simple to set up, requiring no special tools or machinery to position on the range. Typical set up time to achieve operational status at a new site is less than two hours for two trained operators.

All RAIDER moving and static thermal targets are compatible with our patented Generated Heat On Demand (GHOD) active thermal IR technology. The GHOD technology allows up to four hours of continuous operation, remote activation and standby, no minimum on-time and unlimited on-off cycles; ensuring maximum flexibility for your scenario planning and execution phases.

The fully assembled system can be easily towed between locations behind white fleet and green vehicles using the supplied towing adapters.

In a Class of its Own

RAIDER makes possible moving-target training of all natures and can be engaged by all weapons platforms, including from rotary and fixed wing aircraft, ground vehicles such as armoured fighting vehicles (AFV), Land 400 vehicles such as the combat reconnaissance vehicle (CRV) and infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), and extends to high-explosive and guided missile varieties, and beyond.
